Winter season is almost over. July has been windy but cold especially in the morning and evening. We enjoyed sunshine in the afternoon. We give glory to our almighty caring God who gives his people seasons for their betterment and enjoyment.
We had a Board of Directors meeting on 9 July in Binga. It was a successful meeting which was not even interrupted by National lockdown. We discussed quite a number of important things for the spiritual welfare of the congregations and leadership. We encouraged our leaders to conduct Sunday Services of not more than 50 congregants. Those churches with more than 50 are to have more services per Sunday while observing Corona virus rules and regulations prescribed by the government. Also we encouraged family devotions than conducting midweek services. I encouraged the leadership to buy smartphones where we will create a platform for discussing leadership related issues. It will be easy for me to give leadership lesson’s. I think this will be the best way to minister to the Churches and leaders in this covid-19 era. I pray pastors will be able to buy smartphones for our effective communication. Also we reviewed our missions vision for acquiring a Stand and build a Mission centre. People are continuing to make monthly subscriptions toward the project. Inflation is our major challenge.
My family is very upset with the hyenas which attacked our cattle and killed a cow and a heifer. Last year 5 cows died of severe drought. I hope the Parks will deal with their wild animals. I feel compelled to buy more cattle. Cattle is our wealth.

Graphic images alert: If the sight of blood bothers you, do not open the images. While the hyenas killed our precious cows, and we are very sad about it, we did not let them go to waste.
