I was preaching a series of topical sermons this month which inspired most of the congregates in Hwange Church. I hope the sermons will not only inspire them but change their lives morally, spiritually, and socially. It is God’s desire and expectation to see His children growing into Christlike character. Last Sunday service was filled with joy as we celebrated our Lord together. In the midst of praising of our Lord, came an unwanted visitor who disturbed our joy….it was a harmless snake running through our Holy Ground. It was indeed a harmless snake but who would stand on its way. We got scattered. This is one of the disadvantages of worshipping in the hills. You will be vulnerable to heat, wind, insects and the like. We pray for God’s protection as we patiently wait for normal life after this global pandemic.
Please kindly rejoice with me over having my first granddaughter. Timothy’s wife gave birth to a baby girl on the 5th of August. She gave birth through operation and we pray for a quick recovery. It is unbelievable that I am now grandpa. We will be having a baby shower in a couple of weeks to come.
