Friends in Christ
I had special invitation from Pastor John Sandu who ministers in Hwange Church. He asked me to teach on Discipleship. Pastor John had realized that many of his members came from different Churches with different doctrinal backgrounds. It’s not always easy to change someone from his or her beliefs. It needs God’s grace as you carefully go through the scriptures with the disciple. Along the course I strongly emphasized on baptism through immersion. One woman came from one of the Apostolic Churches and realized that she had been immersed 3 times in the water. She became so worried about her baptism. She asked several questions such as, “Am I going to inherit the eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven? What should I do to receive correct baptism?” I baptized several people after the lessons.
Prayer requests for 2014:
1. Pray for me to be effectively used by God in expanding His Word.
2. Pray for my effective commitment to the projects and the projects to have great impact in the lives of people.
3. Pray for more donors to support the growing ministry in Zimbabwe.
