It has been several months without doing food delivery to our hungry Churches. We encountered a situation which was just beyond our control. Mealie meal continues to be a major shortage in the country. Maize is our main staple food and without it life is in danger. Finally God directed us to buy rice in substitution of mealie meal which our Churches received with gladness. I give all glory to our Almighty God for safe traveling especially at night and in wet gravel roads. With our heavy loads we expected to be stuck in some muddy places or roads but God led us through safely.
Two days after our food delivery, we received heavy rains for two consecutive days resulting in floods in Nsungwale village in Binga District. About 20 homes were completely destroyed leaving people being homeless. Food and most domestic animals have been swept away by floods. The situation is so pathetic. These homeless villagers are so desperate of food and clothes. May we please pray that God provides them with food and clothing.
