2017 June Report
My goal as a leader is to see ministries growing up nicely for the glory of the Lord. I encourage all the pastors in their local congregations to encourage and promote diversity of ministries. One of the growing ministries is Women’s Ministry. Women are growing up well both in spirit and physical. They are so devoted to prayers and to Bible studies on Thursdays and other days of the week. In Hwange I often see small groups of women going to the nearby hills to be with the Lord in prayers. Every time I see them going to the hills, Am reminded of the Mysticism class I did at GFU where I learned great men and women of God in the past going to the desert for a couple of years or so simply to experience intimacy with the Lord, receive visions and the like. I hope these ladies will be Great Mystics.
Women had their June Annual Conference as from 14 to 17 at Siachilaba Church. As a way of promoting and supporting Women’s Ministry I offered my truck to carry all those coming from faraway places. It was a great relief from walking many kilometers to the Conference Centre. Brother John worked very hard driving tirelessly during the day and night. There was good attendance. It is always good and pleasing to see their attendance growing every year. For the past years, some women have greatly improved in their preaching and teaching. The lessons were indeed inspiring. Many were so blessed. The singing and dancing were great as usual. If there are any interested women in attending, preaching or teaching at Women’ Conference, let me know so that we can make some arrangements.
