August 2012
While I see a great need to revive at least one or two Churches per month, I also realize the great to take break. I and other pastors now feel have rested enough for a month and have now re-gained enough strength and enthusiasm to continue with our revivals. We had a revival at Kasompele Church on the 30th of July to 2nd August. God worked out some wonders. 230 people attended the revivals and 45 people received deliverance from sins, sicknesses, demons and evil spirits. So far Kasompele has the highest number of people possessed by demons. We slept late every night casting out evil spirits and counseling people. About 20 people surrendered their lives to Christ and were ready to be baptized. We couldn’t baptize them because of water crisis. We had thought of baptizing them in Zambezi river but we were told it was unsafe because of hungry crocodiles. So I thought it was unwise to feed the crocodiles with converts.
We were supposed to have another revival at Binga town on the 3rd to 6th August, unfortunately we were unable to raise enough money for food, water, electricity and rent bills. Our goal was to raise $700 but we managed to raise $400. This year Binga Church has doubled its attendance from 30 to 60. My concern is that if we establish strong Churches in towns they might be able to support God’s work in the near future.
Now concerning the water project; we are no longer molding filters since I returned the molds to Zambia. However, the group is still very determined to keep the project going. We are busy collecting gravel and sand.I now have contact of people in Harare who make filter molds. I have emailed them about molds and hope to have a reply ASAP.I will keep you updated. Thank you so much for your support and prayers. God continue to bless you and your families.
