Friends in Christ

There is still a great need for me to teach on leadership development in my Churches. Sometimes I hear of quarreling among the Church leaders over leadership. There are many reasons why leaders fight. Some reasons are genuine and some are not at all. I found out that most leaders fight simply because of power hungry, lack of boundaries, not meeting biblical qualifications, unclear responsibilities and roles. To avoid unnecessary quarreling, I called for Deacon and Eldership Seminar from 1- 3 May. We had inspiring discussions and lessons. One deacon confessed that he quarreled in the Church out of ignorance because he was just hand picked to be a deacon without being taught about his responsibilities and boundaries. After 3 days of discussions and lessons, they asked me if I could have lessons with them at least once every year.

From 5 – 9 May I had pastors’ seminar. We discussed a lot on ministry and what is involved in it. They were so blessed with the lessons and I was so humbled with what they are going through in the ministry. After the lessons, one of our oldest preachers said, “I wish the Lord would come now while we are still blessed with these lessons.”

I felt so much honored to be invited by the Leighton Ford Ministries to attend Spiritual Mentoring training from 30 May to 3 June at Apple Hill, North Carolina. Yes, it was worth attending this training. There is a lot I learned which I can not numerate in this short report. But after the training I concluded that every Christian needs a mentor to go through his/her spiritual journey. In our spiritual journey we meet many difficult situations, decisions and challenges whereby together with our mentors can listen and discern God’s way. I thank MaryKate for this inspiring training.

After the training, a dear friend of mine, Jim, invited me to Oregon to meet his family and many other friends. It was awesome to see and have great dialogue with friends. I ended up going to Valparaiso, Indiana where I was hosted by grandma and grandpa Fitch. I was given an honor in South Haven Christian Church to present my ministry and projects in Zimbabwe. It was so humbling to have many brothers and sisters listening to my stories. It was so refreshing to go for boating and riding quad motor cycle for the first time. Boating was a little bit frightening for me but as we made several turns I kept on saying to grandpa, “One more time.” Thanks to grandma, grandpa Fitch and Justin for boating and riding motor cycle.

I left USA on the 16th and safely arrived on the 17th of June. It was good to be with the family again. On the 24th June I and my wife went to Musina, South Africa to buy musical keyboard to improve our worship services and crusades.

We have Women’s Annual conference going on at Manjolo Springs Church which commenced on the 26th to 29th of June. Ellinah, my wife is one of the speakers. I am hoping to hear great news about this conference this evening.

Thank you for your prayerful and financial support.

Leadership Conference is
October 24th through 29th.
This will be the last conference for 2022.
