I have a May report and some photos form the garden and leadership seminar.
Have a pleasant month end.

Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few,” Luke 10:2. It is unbelievable that there are some small areas in the Binga District of Zimbabwe which are not yet reached with the Word of God and besides there is still a lot to be done in our Churches. Indeed the harvest is plentiful! I believe the few workers we have if they can be properly trained or Biblically empowered can be effective instruments in God’s field. This is the reason why Leadership Seminar is one of my top priorities. We had leadership training as from 21st to 25th of May at Siachilaba Church. We had 23 pastors and their wives and a few were unable to attend the training. For the past years the Bible College graduates have been teaching other fellow-pastors. This May I deliberately chose two pastors who had never gone to Bible College to teach us just to see the results of their training. They taught very well. I observed Homiletics and Hermeneutics skills being applied in their teaching. We were so inspired. God qualifies the unqualified to do His work.
During our discussion session one pastor pointed out the need to plant a Church in a certain village which has not been evangelized. It is a remote area. They have a School which has only 45 pupils from ECD to grade 7. The School will likely be closed as villagers seem not to see the value of education. We hope the Word of God will bring light to this community and understand the importance of education and holy living as well.
It is winter season here and it‘s good time for gardening. Today I have been digging holes to transplant tomato seedlings. I also transplanted carrots and onions. I did not finish transplanting tomatoes because of water. The authorities provide water early in the morning for one or two hours every day. Some other days there will be no water and electricity. The problem will probably continue for the whole year since we received very little rainfall. I hope God the Almighty will take care of His children in this difficult year.
