Ministering the love of Christ to the people of Zambezi Valley and across Zimbabwe

Sometimes it is amazing how God brings the lost souls into His Kingdom. Some people encounter Christ through their healing, others through witnessing Christ’s love in their lives and so on. Martin Dube is my new convert who is undergoing discipleship lessons. He is a mechanic by profession but unemployed. One day he approached me and asked if I needed my car to be fixed. I allowed him to fix the carburetor and charged me US$15.00. I paid him without negotiating his charge and in addition I gave him 2kgs of rice. Martin did not expect this gesture of love from me. He came the following morning just to spend time with me. As we discussed I found out that he was not a Christian and had a lot of challenges in his life. Firstly he needed employment to support his family and secondly he could suffocate whenever he entered into the Shops despite adequate air conditioners. I invited him to join our prayer group every morning and started sharing with him the Word of God. After two weeks of praying he got a job as a mechanic in one of the Chinese companies. Yesterday he went for shopping with his family and did not experience suffocation. We give all glory to God for His caring love. Martin is now a dedicated disciple and will be baptized when he will be ready.

We had Pastors together with their wives attending the leadership seminar as from 24 to 29 May. We had 3 great preachers who took us through leadership training. It was worth attending because we felt encouraged and motivated to do God’s work in all circumstances. Pastors are doing very well in their pastoral ministry despite their financial challenges. I and Ellina have been praying on how we could bless our fellow pastors. The Spirit led us to buy 236 T-shirts which they shared amongst themselves.  Pastors expressed their different gratitude from this little gesture of love. Pastor Lameck said, ” I have never bought 8 T-shirts at once but today God blessed me with 8 T-shirts. What a blessing!! I wish this will continue.” It is indeed our desire and prayer to bless our fellow pastors as our financial support continues to increase.
