November 2013

Friends in Christ

We had inspiring Crusade at Dobola on the 21st to 24th of November. 130 people attended the Crusade. The attendance increased during the evenings. Some Christians from other denominations came during night like Nicodemus. They were most probably afraid of their leaders. Most leaders are afraid of losing their members to other Churches.

Our music was so inspiring because of playing musical instruments. Most Churches in rural areas do not play musical instruments in their worship services, so when we play them many people come and that gives us great opportunity to speak to many people. Many people received deliverance from their sicknesses. We had 12 people attending counseling session. Two sisters received Christ as their personal Savior. There were many people who rededicated their lives to Christ. This is the last Crusade for the year 2013. If the Lord wills, we will resume our crusades next year in May 2014.

I do not know for sure if the satanists are common in the USA. What I know for sure is the Satan is everywhere, working day and night. We worshiped with a satanist for almost a year in Hwange Church where brother John Sandu is ministering. We did not know that she was a satanist. She was very quiet in the Church. When we had big meetings such as Men’s Fellowship or Christmas, she would volunteer for cooking. We thought she was very helpful. On the 2nd of November, she came up front along with other sisters and brothers who needed prayers after preaching. She had severe stomach pains and headache. We laid hands on her and she fell on the ground tossing or wiggling like a snake. After praying for her, she got up and went straight to her house without talking to anyone. We knew she was still demon possessed. That same week on Wednesday the Prayer Warrior Group prayed and fasted for her. While we were praying for her, she asked us not to lay hands on her because she felt burned. Indeed, we could notice that she was burned with prayers. Finally, she stood up and picked invisible things from her bag, fridge, kitchen unit, under the bed, car and flowers. The demon then bid farewell and left. On the 9th of November, she gave frightening testimony before the congregation.

She testified that she joined satanism when she was doing grade 7. She has been involved in satanism for 4 years. Initially, she received a call on the phone from someone (satanist) she did not know and proposed her love. She agreed. The guy came in a dream and introduced himself to her. He gave her an apple which she ate. Thereafter, he would physically come and talk to her on face to face basis. The guy had become her spiritual husband. This man would come at midnight and take her along with other satanists into Zambezi River where they held their meetings. That’s where they were given satanic powers for doing many different evil activities. This woman was involved in causing road accidents and mysteriously taking money from people. She regretted that she caused many accidents on the road. Also she apologized to her father in-law for causing his truck not to move because of the evil spirits she had put in the car. The car has been stuck for almost a year now. He spent a lot of money trying to get the truck fixed, but every effort was in vain. She had a lot to share with the congregation. I video tapped her as she gave her testimony.

Water Project

Finally all pockets of cement have been used. Yes, it wasn’t an easy job. Hard labor! The project group faced terrible water crisis since most of the water sources had dried up. It needed our perseverance and patience to finish the project. Anyhow, we are glad that we made it at last. We have 28 households, 2 Schools and a clinic enjoying safe and clean water. We are going to sell extra 22 filters at $20 each. I am sure this will be affordable price for people living in remote area. We are now stopping working on the project so that we can concentrate on working in our fields. We shall resume the project next year in April/May. We are very appreciative to all who whole heartedly and generously supported the project. We want to thank once more brother Fitch & the family, Kimball & the family, Darla & the group, David & the group for taking extra mile in supporting the project.

May God richly bless you all.
