We had another zonal conference at Mabobolo which commenced on the 14th to 17th of October. The conference was organized by 10 Churches although 5 of them successfully attended it. The other half faced a challenge of transport and food. We had a total attendence of 148 people. The number increased in the evening as the villagers joined the worship service. When I was invited and scheduled to preach on a Sunday, I thought twice. What came into my mind at once was the long distance I would walk from the main bus stop to the church. Because of my great love and desire to preach and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ, I decided to go. Two brothers welcomed me at the bus stop and we started walking through the bushes and hills. It was very hot, I was sweating. I had white stripes of sweat on my face. I felt dryness in my mouth because of thirst. We came to a well just 2 Km before the church. I drank enough water like a camel. The water was cool and quenching. By the time we arrived at the church, I was completely tired. One generous lady gave me a dish of water to take a bath before she served me with food. I somehow felt refreshed. The evening service seemed to be too long because I needed deep rest.
The conference was worth attending. I got so inspired like the rest of the brothers and sisters in Christ. The preachers blessed us a lot according to their unique gifting. It is usually rare to hear people giving their past testimonies. Some of the testimonies were just unbelievable. The Holy Spirit is indeed at work in some people’s lives. Demon possessed women were delivered in Jesus name. They will be led by the Holy Spirit in their lives. It was also good to listen to other people’s problems and helping them to come to a realisation that God is their absolute solution to their problems.
