March Report 2022
John and his wife ministering in Hwange have been blessed with a baby boy in mid-February. John needed enough time to be with his wife and a new baby giving necessary assistance such as cooking and fetching water. Therefore he asked me to continue with Church activities. I assumed the responsibility of preaching on every Sunday and leading prayer meetings on Thursdays. I committed much of my time reading the Bible, books and commentaries as prepared sermons under the theme, “Standing firm in all circumstances and situations.” We were so inspired and motivated by examples of prominent Bible characters like Moses, David and the like. The Sunday school kids were blessed too. Usually when kids are blessed, you will see them at the playground dramatizing the whole Sunday service, imitating the preacher. I give glory and honor to God because of one sister who gave her life to Christ and got baptized. Prayer meetings on Thursdays were very critical as we were approaching By-elections on 26th March. We earnestly prayed for peace and tranquility during political campaigns. I happy there was peace in most of the constituencies.
